A Few Quick Links…

Things have been a little hectic around here for the last few weeks, between a recently completed inventory, the winding down of the winter term, and preparations for the summer term, so in lieu of a more substantial entry, we thought we’d post couple of quick video links.

First, under the heading of fascinating things that never cross our minds, a brief video profile of the last maker of glass eyes in Britain.

And second, a full hour of the BBC’s “Secret Universe” TV series, “The Hidden Life of the Cell” – using spectacular computer animations to demonstrate the constant battles taking place in every one of us between viral intruders and our body’s immune defense systems.
