WebSpins: Auto updates on the newest releases

Would you like to be able to keep constantly up to date on the newest books and software related to your specific fields of interest? WebSpins is a service available through our Virtual Bookstore that delivers lists of just that information to your email inbox on a monthly basis.

 

 

Simply drop by the Health Sciences Virtual Bookstore and click on the WebSpins icon on the right side of the page. After registering your email address, you’ll be taken to a list of over 300 topics -from Allergies and Acupuncture to Tropical and Veterinary Medicines- each with a checkbox to declare your interest.

Topics aren’t limited to medical subjects either. If you have a passion for photography or astronomy, or want to read up on travel or current events, there’s a box for that too. (A friendly warning, though – don’t cast too wide a net at first. These collections are extensive, and if you choose too many topics, you may end up with a list some 2000 titles long, as I did.)

Once you’ve selected your topics, you can immediately review the most recent listings. Click on a title and you’ll be taken to a synopsis and expected release date, and if you’d like a copy, you can either call us at the bookstore to bring one in for you, or purchase online for a direct delivery to your door as soon as the title is released.

Every month, a new list will appear in your email, and you can review the existing list, modify your selections, or unsubscribe at any time.
