The Dal Libraries are running a 30-day free trial of Oxford Bibliographies Online (OBO). Trial ends July 27, 2011.
Oxford Bibliographies Online is a new research tool for the social sciences and humanities. A scholar-curated library of discipline-based subject modules, OBO is designed to help busy researchers find reliable sources of information quickly by directing you to exactly the right chapter, book, website, archive, or data set you need.
Each entry is a selective guided tour through the key literature on topics ranging from Atlantic History through Public Health to Victorian Literature. All citations are linked through to our collection via OpenURL, full-text via DOIs, or to the web via links to OCLC, WorldCat, and Google Books, allowing you to locate quickly full-text content directly from OBO.
Off campus access is available using the following:

This online version of the Bibliography of Asian Studies (BAS) contains over 787,000 records on all subjects (especially in the humanities and the social sciences) pertaining to East, Southeast, and South Asia published worldwide from 1971 to the present.
BAS Online provides references to books, journal articles, individually authored monographs, chapters in edited volumes, conference proceedings, anthologies, Festschriften etc. It encompasses the full content of the annual printed volumes of the BAS from 1971 to 1991, the last volume available in print form. There are also many references to post-1991 publications, including citations to all articles from the 100 most-used journals in Asian studies (up to the present in many cases), and a substantial number of additional citations from earlier years in South Asian studies.
The Bibliography of Asian Studies Online is accessible both on and off campus. Explore it now!
In August 2011, RefWorks will move to an updated interface, RefWorks 2.0. You can preview the new interface within your current account by logging in and clicking on the “RefWorks 2.0” link at the top right (login to RefMobile). You may return to the original interface by clicking “RefWorks Classic” at the top right of the screen. Don’t worry, RefWorks will support both interfaces until December 2011.
For more information about using RefWorks, see the Libraries’ RefWorks webpage.
