Dalhousie’s Copyright Office supports staff, students, and faculty with questions about copyright, including fair dealing, publishing, course materials, and more.
Want more information? Get detailed information on a wide range of copyright topics in our copyright guide.
Planning to use streaming video in your course? Start with the Streaming Video guide. If the library doesn’t have the film you need, you can submit a request through Recommend a Purchase. Please check the library catalogue first, as the title may already be available.
While we will do our best to secure licenses for films, we cannot purchase licenses for films produced by most major streaming services such as Disney+, Netflix, and Apple TV.
