I’ve used Scopus before in other universities and working at NRC. I was surprised that DAL didnt offer it to its staff/students/faculty when I arrived here.

Me too! Glad to see the trial is here.

Throughout my undergrad I used many online databases to search for academic papers. I found Scopus especially useful in my fourth year while I was working on my thesis.
It would be very helpful to be able to continue using Scopus during my Masters. It is an excellent source!

I really hope this is extended from a trial to a permanent resource. It is a great resource!

Like Keegan I also used Scopus heavily in my undergrad and when I came to Dal I was disappointed not to see it while pursuing my Masters degrees. I have been using it non-stop since I learned that it was on trial. I hope this database stays!

I’m currently in the process of performing a comprehensive literature review/synthesis for my Ph.D. preliminary and am really enjoying Scopus. It makes performing targeted literature searches, exporting my references, and obtaining the literature really easy. I hope Dal extends the trial.
