Archives and Special Collections, Remembrance Day Hours

The Remembrance Day weekend hours for the Archives and Special Collections Reading Room are as follows:

Saturday, November 10: 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.

Sunday, November 11: 2:00 – 9:00 p.m.

Monday, November 12: Closed

Archives materials can be viewed over the weekend, but they must be requested by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, November 9.  The Archives holds extensive records on World Wars I and II.  Please drop by if you are interested in viewing field journals, diaries, scrapbooks, photographs, and other records that document the role of Nova Scotians at home and abroad.

Complementing JSTOR’s existing collections, the Ireland Collection adds titles and resources across the arts, humanities, and sciences in disciplines such as music, art, history, literature, archaeology, mathematics, and biology. Created in collaboration with Queen’s University Belfast, the collection provides a rich focus on Ireland, with more than 75 key journals and 200 monographs in 8 disciplines.
