The ASM Medical Materials Database is the only comprehensive, peer-reviewed database providing a single source for materials data to support medical device design. The database features both materials properties and biological response data for medical device designers.

The Kellogg has arranged for a free trial to Oxford Medicine Online until Nov. 10, 2011.
Oxford Medicine Online is a collection of online medical resources which cover every stage in a medical career, from resources for medical students and junior doctors, to those for senior doctors and consultants. Oxford Medicine Online allows users to browse and search a range of OUP’s online medical textbooks and handbooks from a single location.

In September, 7000 new ebook titles were added to Dalhousie’s online public catalogue. These records were for ebooks published by Springer, one of the Dalhousie Libraries’ major providers of e-content in science, technology and medicine.
Titles may be searched individually in Novanet or in WorldCat Local or they may be accessed on the Springerlink website.

Our new “Media Resources in Health Sciences” Libguide presents some of the most popular items in our collection arranged by subject. Faculty may find these resources useful to present in class or to assign as additional study. Students may just want to view to supplement their clinical experience or as a refresher.
