I’m Rai-Lee Gardiner, the Registered Dietitian with Dalhousie Food Services serving the Halifax campus.
I’m proud to be one of about 200 food services employees here on the Halifax campus dedicated to providing our residence students and other guests the tastiest and healthiest dining experience possible. I am especially proud of the efforts we undertake to support those with allergies, intolerances and special diets as much as possible.
I work with the food services team in a variety of ways, including making sure the information available to you around the food we serve is accurate, and helping food services innovate and push boundaries to be more sustainable and environmentally friendly while being fresh, healthy, and delicious!
I also am available to meet with you individually to discuss any special dietary needs, nutrition concerns, goals, and preferences and discuss how to successfully navigate the campus food scene.
You will also find me regularly in the meal halls for health and wellness events, local food celebrations, fun food sampling tables, and more.
