Please note both the Kellogg Library Learning Commons in the CHEB and the W. K. Kellogg Health Sciences Library in the Tupper Building will be closed this Saturday, January 5 for a planned power shutdown necessary to do some electrical repairs. We apologize for this inconvenience.
Facilities Management has provided the following information about the shutdown:
Planned power shutdown Jan. 5 ‑ Carlton Campus
Please note that there will be a power outage on Saturday, January 5th, 2019 to install a new high voltage (25kV) cable from Dentistry building to the Tupper Building. The outage is planned for 7am – 7pm. The buildings affected by this shutdown will be :
- Tupper Building/ Life Science Research Institute (LSRI) – fully functioning with backup power
- Dental/Burbidge/Forrest Buildings/CHEB – essential services only will be supplied by emergency generator. (Access to these buildings will be restricted during the outages)
Although Tupper and LSRI buildings will have emergency power, only essential personnel should enter the building.
