Johnelle Sciocchetti, who in addition to working in the Killam Library Circulation Department, is a playwright and an actor. Her latest production, Maybe Someday, will debut at the Atlantic Fringe Festival this September. This is Johnelle’s fifth production.
Performed by the Wildfire Theatre Collective, Maybe Someday is a romantic comedy that pokes fun at the genre. The two main characters, Jake and Carly, break up and go their separate ways. When Carly starts a new job, she meets Joe. Joe is looking for a roommate, and ends up sharing his apartment with Jake. Will there be a reunion or only missed connections? You’ll have to see the play to find out.
Tickets are $5. You can purchase them online, or they can be purchased at the door before the show.
The play will be performed in the Kenneth C. Rowe Heritage Hall at Pier 21 on the following dates:
Sunday, Sept. 2 /8:15-9 p.m.
Tuesday, Sept. 4/7-7:45 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 8/8:55-9:40 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 9/4:30-5:15 p.m.
Best of luck on opening night Johnelle!
