We are very pleased to announce that you are now able to print from your Windows and Mac laptops to the Killam, Kellogg and Pharmacy Library Learning Commons black and white printers.
All you need to do is install the iprint software and then install the appropriate printer. A valid NetID and password will be required. Please head to printing.dal.ca (on campus only) for further instructions.
More printers will be added across campus at a later date.

Curious why we’re not able to upload PDFs to the online portal for printing?
Marlo MacKay says
In addition to the print management software needing to be upgraded, a number of other systems also to be upgraded beforehand. We apologize for the inconvenience of this.

How do you print it single paged instead of the automatic double sided
Marlo MacKay says
Hi Sarah, we’re checking with the Help Desk. You could also try contacting them at support@dal.ca
Marlo MacKay says
Hi Sarah,
Here’s what the help Desk had to say:
When using web print from your laptop, there is unfortunately no way to change whether or not it prints two sided or one sided.
The default, however, should be 1 sided. We tested that this morning, and it looked to be printing 1 sided (you should be able to see how much the print costs you, which is a clue to single sided vs double sided).
If you require more advanced printing (only certain pages, duplex vs non-duplex, etc) the Help Desk recommends that you use a computer in our learning commons or an express computer and print from there, as that allows you to fine-tune your print requests.
