I would like to express my congratulations to the 36 Faculty of Management students that attended the Ottawa Federal Government Tour organized by Management Career Services last week.  If you speak to any of our student participants I am sure they will tell you it was a very busy two days learning about the federal service and the career opportunities it presents.

Highlights for MLIS Students included the mock interviews, visiting Library and Archives Canada (Disneyland for Librarians one student commented), the Library of Parliament and Citizenship and Immigration Canada, as well as the very engaging Alumni Panel and wonderful networking reception that took place afterwards.

For me, I greatly enjoyed organizing the IM stream of this tour and getting to know more about the 15 MLIS students that participated in this stream.  Thank you for representing SIM, our faculty and Dalhousie so well!
