Due to the impending hurricane, Dalhousie will be closed on Saturday, September 7. This includes all locations of the Dalhousie Libraries in Halifax and Truro. Updates will be posted on this blog. Here is the official announcement from Dalhousie:

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Dalhousie’s campuses to be closed all day Saturday, Sept 7

Dalhousie’s Halifax and Truro campuses as well as the University of King’s College will be closed all day on September 7 on account of Hurricane Dorian. The safety and security of our campus community remains our highest priority. The updated weather forecast throughout the day, along with the suspension of municipal bus and ferry service for Saturday, prompted the university to close for the entire day as a precaution.

We would ask all members of the campus community to take appropriate safety precautions and not attempt to access campus buildings (other than assigned student residences) during the campus closure. Further updates will be provided as available.
