Starting Friday, May 3, access to study space and consultations in the Archives & Special Collections Reading Room will be unavailable due to renovations. Onsite research will be available by appointment only. Email archives@dal.ca to book an appointment or to submit reference inquires.  Archives & Special Collections staff will still be able to access the collections during renovations.

The GIS Centre will remain open as usual – a path through the Archives & Special Collections Reading Room will be maintained to allow access.

During the renovations, there will be no access to any study spaces on the fifth floor.

Renovations are expected to be completed by the end of May. We will post updates as the information is available. We apologize for any inconvenience these renovations may cause and we look forward to serving you in our refreshed space which will include new paint and carpet in the Archives & Special Collections Reading Room and new carpet in the atrium hallways.
