Please join us in saying good-bye and good luck to Janet MacDonald who recently retired. Janet started working in the Killam Library in 1982, working in the mailroom and the bindery, as well as doing end processing of library materials, book repair and supervising some student library workers. In 2013 she worked for several months supporting Janice Slauenwhite in the Administration Office. Her friendly personality and positive presence was appreciated by all who came into the office.

“Janet good natured, friendly and helpful. She worked comfortably and diligently, and she did her job very well. Janet worked very closely with May Lou and was one of her best coffee buddies. She had a great ability to relate to others,” said Susan Harris, Janet’s supervisor for over 20 years.

Janet has many friends at the Dal Libraries, as she always took time to get to know everyone and chat with them. She will be missed by all.
