I would like to congratulate the IWB Committee on planning and hosting a very successful and thought-provoking IWB Conference. The speakers and panel discussions covered interdisciplinary topics that were relevant and timely.

The Committee is to be given particular credit for handling with aplomb last-minute changes necessitated by the winter storm. Your professionalism and resilience were noted and appreciated by all.

Thank you for your outstanding efforts; the entire SIM community is proud of you. I welcome those who attended the conference to post their thoughts about the topics discussed.
