Hello SIMers! I will be reading selections from my upcoming collection of short stories this Friday, January 7, 2011 as part of the Dal English department’s reading series. I will be reading with Anne Simpson, who is a poet, novelist, winner of the Griffin Poetry Prize and this term’s Writer in Residence at Dal. The reading starts at 3:45 in McCain 1198 and ends with (free) wine at 5 p.m.

And just a quick note about the Writer in Residence: if you’re a writer and a Dal student and would like a professional writer to take a look at your work, you can book an appointment to see Anne Simpson sometime in the next 3 months. I’ll post her contact info here once I get it. Cheers and Happy New Year!
