There will be some noisy work in the Killam on Friday and the weekend. The work is being done to prepare for the installation of the compact shelving, and the work has to be completed by the end of March.
On Friday, there will be very noisy work, (drilling into concrete) though it should be wrapped up by 11 a.m. We anticipate that the noise of drilling into concrete will be audible throughout the building (though the work is happening on the south side of the second floor). On Saturday and Sunday, there is potential for somewhat noisy work between the hours of 7 a.m.–4 p.m.
If you are looking for alternative places to study, we recommend the Wallace McCain Learning Commons and/or the Kellogg Library Learning Commons in the CHEB.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
