It is that time again…. no not exam season (while that may be true) it is also Tax season! If it is a given that taxes are a certainty then you will be doing yours soon. In an effort to help you with that the Sir James Dunn Law Library is pointing you to a new Tax database that is available to Dalhousie Users. CICA’s Tax Suite Premium and once tax season is over you can also use this database for tax related research.
For the past few months we have been faced with a barrage of headlines of crises and disasters around the globe which have tugged at our heartstrings.
We will be holding one last fundraiser for the year, a penny drive in the library pitting 1L vs. 2L vs. 3L vs. the Faculty. Dig through your couch cushions and bring in your spare change. All proceeds will go to the Canadian Red Cross’ International Disaster Relief Fund.
How to Donate
Go to the library, next to the circulation desk. Put change in the bucket.
What is a Reverse Penny Drive?
Pennies count for +1 to each groups’ total while placing ‘Silver Coins’ in the opponents jug subtracts the coin’s value from their penny total (Nickels [-5], Dimes [-10] and Quarters[-25.]
