Lapierre Enjoying Job Split
Audrey Lapierre, who has worked in the Killam Library’s Serials Unit for almost 25 years, is wearing a new hat these days. She now works in Circulation 2 1/2 hours a day, an hour and a half in the morning and an hour in the afternoon. “I really enjoy the position, because I’m such a people person,” she says. “It’s really nice to be able to assist the students when they have so much to cope with… Serials used to be a public service department but a few years back, switched to non-public. This now gives me the opportunity to work with students again.” Audrey’s smiling face behind the Circ Desk says it all!
