June 21st is National Indigenous People’s Day in Canada. This is a day to recognize and celebrate the unique heritage, diverse cultures, and outstanding contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples.
Dal Libraries will be holding a morning smudge (a ceremony involving the burning of sacred medicines) led by Catherine Martin at 10:00 a.m. in the Killam courtyard outside of the main entrance. All are welcome to join!
