Food For Fines
January 18 – 27, 2010
Overdue books stressing you out? Well pull them out from under that bed–Food For Fines is on!
From January 18th to 27th, anyone owing book fines at the Dalhousie Libraries–or any Novanet library– may donate food items for the food bank in lieu of paying their fines. For every non-perishable food item you donate, we’ll reduce your fines by $2, to a maximum of $20. Cash paid for fines during this period will also be donated to the food bank.
Simply bring your food or cash donations to the Circulation Desk at any of the participating libraries* (e.g., if you owe fines at the Mount, you can make your donation at Saint Mary’s if it’s more convenient). For more information about Food For Fines, contact the Circulation Department at any of the libraries.
