Meet Morgan
McCunn. Morgan is a CRMBA student who is currently completing an 8-month residency working as a Business Analyst Intern with Deloitte. Like many others, the CRMBA program appealed to Morgan because she
wanted to gain professional work experience while pursuing her MBA. She spoke highly about how the program prepared her for her corporate residency:
“Seeing as how I’m working in consulting, the exposure to the industry that we received through PPE (Personal and Professional Effectiveness class) was very helpful. A number of employer partners, including Deloitte, participated in our classes, easing my transition into the role. Learning how to effectively work in groups is another aspect of the program that I am thankful for.”
Morgan’s preparation helped her excel at Deloitte where she received an award from The Business Analyst Action Committee for her ambitious and positive approach to directing the “Leadership Straight Talk” initiative while on her residency. Morgan attributes her success at Deloitte to taking advantage of the many opportunities the company has to offer:
“Opportunities to become involved with the organization beyond my role have greatly contributed to my positive experience at Deloitte. Volunteering opportunities supported by your local office are another great way to give back to the community and get to know your colleagues.”
Morgan’s experiences show that getting involved with organizations and taking advantage of opportunities available to you can lead to a truly valuable corporate residency experience.
