The Dal contingent that attended the AGS 2019, in Fredericton, consisted of undergraduate presenters were Juan Chavez (zircon in the South Mountain Batholith), Catherine Evans (mud deposits offshore Korea), Galena Roots (petrology of a SNC meteorite), and Kanwar Multani (kimberlite reaction textures). Graduate students presenting their research were Richard Chow (apatite in kimberlites), Trevor Kelly (Ground Penetrating Radar at Joggins) and Sidney Stashin (the Beaufort formation). Faculty members John Gosse, Anne-Marie Ryan, Grant Wach and James Brenan. Alas, despite an outstanding showing by the students, no awards were brought home. A wonderful time was had by all.
