To Departmental Staff (Who Will Enter/Submit GFP Requests to FGS):
I wanted to email an update on training for the Graduate Funding Payment (GFP) project. In the coming weeks, we will be sending out an email with detailed information on how to sign-up for training sessions. Sessions will be approximately 2 hours and will take place in a computer lab to allow you to gain hands-on experience with the system. It will also be possible for you to continue to practice using the new system after the session, at your own desk.
Training sessions for departmental staff will be offered starting in May and will continue until the system goes live in mid-June. I wanted to send an update as to what to expect for training in the coming weeks. There will be more details to follow.
