We would like to update you all on the Graduate Funding Payments (GFP) Project (formally called GSPIP Project).
The project was put on hold unexpectedly last term but we are back on track now and are reconnecting with those involved. We are looking forward to developing a new and improved process with you.
We will establish a working group for the project and have started discussions with Graduate Studies and Student Accounts. We will be in touch with most of you as we:
- confirm functional and data requirements
- explore the feasibility of key recommendations
- choose the most effective process to achieve our needs
- establish a plan and timelines for implementation
As a forum to keep everyone up to date with the GFP Project, we have developed a site for the project at https://blogs.dal.ca/gfp/ . The site will give a brief overview of the project, note timelines when they are confirmed, and be an area for project updates and questions. Included in the site is a report on the process review and recommendations, based on input, meetings, suggestions and information available from those involved in the process review.
