You are invited to the opening reception of “In our own words: a glimpse beyond the stigma of crack addiction”. Martha Little is a recent Nursing graduate 2010 from Dalhousie University and artist who worked at Mainline Needle Exchange during her Community Health Nursing clinical rotation. She is also this year’s recipient of the Matthew Ayer prize for excellence in working with populations living on the margins of society due to social injustices. She will be unveiling her powerful and engaging piece of art that tells the stories of 6 people living with drug addiction. We hope to see you at this event supported by Propeller Brewery as we work together to move beyond the stigma associated with drug addiction.
