The LinkedIn Learning Center for students has provided some very helpful videos for students looking to get started with LinkedIn. If you’re not already familiar with LinkedIn, it is one of the top recruitment and networking resources available online. A large number of employers have gone so far as to say it is a necessity for job seekers today.

With that said, simply having an account is not enough. In order to get the most out of this job search tool you need to understand how it works. This series of 6 videos will give any job seeker a solid understanding of the basics in less than 30 minutes. It’s important to note that these videos were created in April 2010 so the numbers in the presentation regarding users not up to date. All of the other information however is still very relevant.
