Meet Megan Kunder, a second year MBA student from Oakville, Ontario. Megan previously completed her corporate residency with DHX Media and this year, secured her post-grad position with Deloitte. Through her networking and awareness of the job market, Megan was able to find a post-grad position that she knew would be the perfect match with her interests. Here is some great job search advice from Megan herself!

“I would advise students to take any opportunity available to meet with potential employers. This is a great way to determine what a company’s corporate culture is like and to improve your networking skills before you enter the working world.

In order to align myself with my post grad position at Deloitte, I first reached out to a number of Deloitte employees. By the time applications were due, I had met with Deloitte employees in Halifax and spoke over the phone with a current Deloitte consultant in the Calgary office.  By speaking with these individuals I was able to determine that Deloitte was a good fit for me.

I am excited to contribute the skills and knowledge gained in my MBA to the Deloitte team, in addition to learning from my co-workers’ outstanding experiences.”
