Jamal St. Lewis is a Bachelor of Management student majoring in Management & Globalization. An active member of the Dalhousie community, Jamal and three other team mates recently came in 2nd place in the KPMG Case Competition at the Atlantic Schools of Business Conference. Regarding his participation at the event, Jamal said:
“I decided to do the KPMG case competition because I wanted to test my knowledge in an applicable format against students from other schools. Case competitions are a medium where students can apply what they have learned in a real life scenario. I would definitely recommend case competitions to other students as they are great learning experiences and provide opportunities to network with employers.
Jamal particpates actively in the Dalhousie community. He serves as VP of Marketing and Sponsorship on the Management Society, and is an active member of Enactus Dalhousie, Dalhousie’s Right to Play society and is a mentor in the Management Mentorship Program.
“I am a strong advocate for extra-curricular activities as it helps connect you with so many different students and people that create connections that can last a lifetime.”
