Did you know that you may not be seeing all of the emails you receive?
Your Dalhousie email account includes a Clutter folder, which attempts to learn your reading habits and sorts your incoming email. Clutter then determines which messages are less important and automatically filters them into the Clutter file. But Clutter doesn’t always get your reading habits right and may sort the wrong types of messages, leaving you potentially unaware of their existence.
This means that you may be missing out on important information including job opportunities, appointment details and notes from your CRS. And it doesn’t just affect the email you receive from Management Career Services, you may not be seeing important emails from many of your other contacts.
To avoid missing out on important messages, disable the folder. The Clutter folder can be disabled in Office 365 Options under the Settings menu once you log-in to my.dal.ca. The steps you must follow are seen in the screenshot below. In the clutter screen, please ensure that the “Separate items identified as clutter” is not checked.
Un-Clutter your inbox so you don’t miss out on important information!
