A recent Dalhousie CRMBA graduate, Steve Olsen reflects on his experience in the program. “Before starting the CRMBA at Dalhousie I wanted to work in the marketing research industry, but opportunities in my hometown of Saskatchewan were limited. I was anxious to kick start my career and my 8-month corporate residency at Corporate Research Associates did just that! I was able to make connections with professionals, gain practical work experience and industry knowledge. Currently, I work in the Consumer Market Knowledge Department at Procter & Gamble and credit the CRMBA for launching my career. My advice to incoming CRMBA students is simply, ‘Know what you want to do and talk about.’ You’ll be amazed how many connections and opportunities will surface by simply initiating conversations.”
