The 28th Annual Health Administration REACH 2012 Leadership Gala was held on Friday, April 13th. Keynote speaker for the gala was Pat Lee – CEO, Pictou County Health Authority. Mr. Lee’s presentation on the future of Canadian healthcare was captivating and thought-provoking for the students in attendance. Special Guests for the evening included:

• Dean Will Webster and Anne Godden-Webster;
• Lawrence Nestman (Professor Emeritus) and Anne Nestman;
• Michael Hadskis, Schulich School of Law;
• Catherine MacPherson, Chair CCHL Bluenose Chapter;
• Sandra Hennigar, Northwood Foundation;
• Mary Lee, CEO Health Association Nova Scotia;
• Sharon Davis-Murdock, Diversity and Social Inclusion Health Policy Advisor, Department of Health and Wellness.  Sharon was also the recipient of the Lawrence Nestman Outstanding Contribution Award.

• Erin Christian – First Year Academic Excellence Award
