The Faculty of Health Professions had a number of students and faculty members who participated in the recent “Run for the Cure” to support breast cancer research with teams from Nursing, Occupational Therapy and Human Communication Disorders – as well as individuals who ran on their own, or on teams with friends and family. Third year Nursing student Denyne Park received the Halifax award for post-secondary fundraiser collecting donations of $2,746, and as a team, Dal Nursing raised over $10,000.
Congratulations to all who participated to support this worthy cause. To learn more about the event, read the DalNews story.
