Phil Leadbeater (B.Sc. Psych, B.Sc.O.T.Reg.(Ont.) Occupational Therapist) is a former army medic and a private practice occupational therapist in Ontario. As well as being a dedicated Occupational Therapist, he is a poet and patron of the arts. He commissioned artist Chase Willis to create a painting inspired by his poem “Enchanted Forrest” – prints of which are being sold for $10 each to support an admission scholarship fund. He was also kind enough to share with us an earlier poem entitled “If You Could Read My Thoughts”, about his experiences as an occupational therapist.
