Sarath Sasidharan is a fourth-year Bachelor of Commerce student, majoring in Finance. Currently in his final few weeks wrapping-up his undergrad degree, Sarath has been working part-time as a Customer Representative in the retail banking department of Scotiabank.

An extremely active member of the Rowe School of Business community, he has been President of AIESEC Halifax, helped co-found the Rowe Marketing Association, served as a peer mentor for the ISSP and is currently Head of Strategic Partnership and Sponsorship for the Fusion Halifax Entrepreneurship Action Team. Sarath also took part in last year’s You’re Hired! Interview Competition, which he credits with helping him land a job with Scotiabank:

“The main reason I decided to take part in the interview competition was to promote and project a diversified skillset and experience towards prospective employers. One of the main skills I was able to gain and refine was my confidence in speaking and promoting myself as a worthy candidate for an organization. I was able to network and connect with Scotiabank recruiters and connect with them even after the competition. Because of my participation, I built a relationship with them that allowed me to succeed in being a part of the organization.”
