As one of the newest societies within Dalhousie University’s Faculty of Management, The Rowe Women in Business Association (WIBA) is on a mission to inspire young women to take on leadership roles and pursue success in business.
Founded in May 2015, the society focuses on the future advancement of women in business and currently has over 50 members. Co-founded by Bachelor of Commerce students Ashley Sambrook and Haley Tibbets, the six-member executive team works hard to ensure a fair and equal opportunity in business for all.
The society hosts regular events and routinely provides occasions for employer engagement, including guest speaker opportunities and sponsorships for events, including their upcoming Atlantic Conference this January 2017.
