Employers now have an additional funding resource to access Dalhousie’s Corporate Residency MBA talent pool through the Mitacs-Accelerate InDev Program.
Mitacs is a Canadian not-for-profit organization with a mandate to foster innovation and commercialization through industry and university collaboration. This new partnership and funding opportunity will further facilitate employers’ access to Dalhousie’s high caliber MBA cohort with diverse backgrounds such as business, engineering, science and IT with 1 to 3 years of work experience.
KEY FACTS regarding Mitacs-Accelerate InDev funding for Dalhousie’s Corporate Residency MBA Program:
- Project topics may include a wide variety of market, product development, and commercialization initiatives
- Funding is available to hire a Dalhousie CRMBA intern for 8 months (January – August, 2014)
- Company Portion $15,000* + Mitacs Portion $7000 = Total of $22,000 for 8 months of work
*Supplemental funding for Atlantic SMEs may be available, on a first-come, first-serve basis
