Dr. Boris Kablar is a tenured full professor of Human Embryology, Human Histology and Developmental Biology in the Departments of Medical Neuroscience/Anatomy and Pathology, Faculty of Medicine, Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada. He has an MD from the University of Zagreb, Croatia (1987) and an MD from the University of Trieste, Italy (1995). He also has a MSc (1992) from the University of Zagreb and a PhD from the Universities of Pisa, Italy and Zagreb (1998). He worked on skeletal muscle development as a post-doctoral fellow and research associate at McMaster University, Hamilton, Canada (1995-2000) in the laboratory of Dr. Michael A. Rudnicki. He has been an independent scientist since 2000.
