NSK Bearings will be supplying the 2011 team with bushings and bearings for the competition vehicle. Megs exhaust builders warehouse has offered a bronze level sponsorship to the Dalhousie Formula SAE Team. Megs supplies custom exhaust tubing, flanges, collectors and bends to suit a variety of applications. They will be supplying the materials for the 2011 competition exhaust at a discounted rate.

Thermo-Tec has become the latest bronze level sponsor of the Dalhousie Formula SAE Team, by offering an in-kind donation of exhaust and heat insulation products. Thermo-tec is the industry leader for thermal insulation products for the automotive industry.

E3 Sparkplugs has offered the Dalhousie Formula SAE Team an in-kind donation of spark plugs to power the 2011 competition vehicle. Our Honda CBR 600rr powertrain will benefit from E3’s technology as it launches us toward the finish line in Michigan this spring.

Cartesian Tube Profiling uses a unique CNC process to manufacture precision cut tube kits for a variety of applications. This process drastically decreases manufacturing times, and results in extremely tight tolerances (0.005″). The 2011 Dalhousie Formula SAE Team will be using Cartesian’s services to manufacture the frame of their competition vehicle. The team would like to thank Don VanRaay and Jamey Joye for their support.

The Dalhousie Student Union has become a silver level sponsor of the 2010-2011 Dalhousie Formula SAE team. The Student Union is responsible for ensuring that the views and opinions of the student body are heard and considered in all major decisions undertaken at Dalhousie University. The DSU also organizes and supports student events on the Dalhousie Campus. The Formula SAE team would like to thank the DSU for their support.

Goodridge fluid transfer systems has become an official bronze sponsor of the Dalhousie Formula SAE team. Goodridge has a proud tradition in motorsports having been a supplier to countless Formula 1 and Nascar teams over the years. The team is looking forward to using Goodridge products in their brake, oil, and fuel supply systems.

The Vehicle Safety Research Team was established at Dalhousie University in 1973 and is directed by Dr. Robert Baird.  The team is responsible for the collection and analysis of vehicle safety data for Transport Canada.
