Congratulations to Dr. Lois Jackson (School of Health and Human Performance) and her Co-Principal investigator Carolyn Davison (Director of Addiction Services, Nova Scotia Department of Health) on receiving a CIHR Knowledge Synthesis Grant in the amount of $98,463 for their study “Opiod-dependent users on methadone: A knowledge synthesis of formal interventions aimed at methadone retention and improved health.” Co-investigators on the grant include Dr. Jacqueline Gahagan (Health and Human Performance), Dr. Jeff Karabanow (Social Work), Dr. Ingrid Sketris (Pharmacy), Dr. Karen Gallant (Health and Human Performance), Dr. Fiona Martin (Sociology and Social Anthropology), Dr. Susan Kirkland (Community Health and Epidemiology), Dr. Karen Neves (Kellogg Library).
