I just wanted to let you know of another way to grade, if anyone is asking or curious. I personally find it easier to go from a grading section rather than scrolling through each topic submission, but to each their own! It seems as though there is no real difference, and similar to bbl, there are just different places to enter different things. Wouldn’t want to confuse anyone, but it does seem to be an option!
progress>grade>manage tab>click right arrow>click enter grades> click on “submission” icon (it displays the whole list of class members, but only puts the bubble relevant for the group…”> review submissions, enter rubric. click “save”> enter total number in “grade section”> click save and close.
I agreed with your frustration that it doesn’t update the total number when you fill out a rubric – so feedback to the company would b great. I tried a number of different things, and none worked! I also found it annoying that you have to click save from the rubric section BEFORE you can even enter a number into that topic grade section. That might throw some people off when it comes to grading! But its just like BBL, they all have their weird little intricacies!
I’ve started marking this week (2nd of the course, week 3/4 of course work). When I select the appropriate box in the rubric and select all of them to complete the marking, the grade now shows up at the top (topic score) and I don’t have to manually add it!!!!
