The College of Sustainability will be holding an Honours Information session on November 26th, 3:30 – 4:30 pm in the College meeting room (Mona Cambell 1407).
At this session you will learn about the Honours thesis process, how to find an advisor for your thesis and hear about the projects that some ESS students have completed for the ESS Honours program.

There is a “Networking Luncheon” in the Unilever Lounge, Fourth Floor, Loyala Building at noon, offering an opportunity to meet with business, government, education and community leaders.

What: Water City 2040

As part of Waterlution’s Transformative Leaders Program, Water City 2040 is being organized in cities across Canada and it seeks to generate multi-stakeholder dialogue around possible water scenarios in our cities for the year 2040. A number of scenarios will be generated for Halifax’s water future with the results to be delivered to regional decision-makers.

Canada’s 2015 Fair Trade Conference will see leaders from across the country come together to strengthen existing ties and increase opportunities for collaboration. Participants will include: fair trade town and campus delegates, fair trade companies, certifiers, food service companies, government institutions, non-profit partners, retailers, university and college representatives, wholesalers
-increase participation and coordination in the fair trade movement in Canada
-inspire, motivate, and build stakeholder capacity to strengthen impact
-present progress of the fair trade movement and the work being done by the CFTN
-prepare strategy for 2015-16 and beyond
A Dalhousie led Spatial Scholarship Committee is currently in the process of finalizing a series of focus group sessions to explore how spatial scholarship permeates your scholarship and how Dalhousie University may create opportunities to support the growth of spatial scholarship across the institution.
With the goal of developing a strategy for spatial scholarship at Dalhousie, we invite you to participate in one of several focus group sessions to be held in late November.
