Dr. Shaun Boe, principal investigator, and collaborators Dr. Tim Bardouille, Dr. Ryan D’Arcy, Dr. Gail Eskes, Dr. Marilyn MacKay-Lyons, and Dr. Aaron Newman were recently successful in obtaining funding from the Nova Scotia Health Research Foundation. The grant comes from the Establishment Grant Competition.

The Establishment Grant is intended to assist in building research capacity and to provide initial support for new health researchers in Nova Scotia over a 1-3 year period.

The grant topic is The role of neural networks in motor recovery: paving the road to post-stroke rehabilitation? and the amount awarded is $149,952.00 (over 3 years).
