The Dalhousie Libraries is pleased to announce a new subscription and open-access fellowship to BMJ Case Reports.
With a large collection of case reports across multiple healthcare disciplines (including medical specialties, rehabilitation, dentistry/oral health, and more) BMJ Case Reports publishes cases that are peer-reviewed and focus on valuable clinical lessons related to unexpected outcomes (including adverse drug reactions), novel treatments (new drug/intervention as well as new application of familiar drugs/interventions) and rare disease. Dalhousie’s subscription, supported through the WK Kellogg Health Sciences Library, provides access to content from 2008–present and can be accessed using your Dalhousie NetID and password.
With Dalhousie’s Institutional Fellowship, Dalhousie researchers can publish open access content in BMJ Case Reports without paying author processing fees (APCs). This means your article will be openly accessible to practitioners, decision-makers, and researchers anywhere, regardless of affiliation or access to institutional subscriptions!
Dalhousie researchers who wish to submit to BMJ Case Reports using our 100% APC discount can start the submission process via casereports.bmj.com. At the end of the submission process, enter our fellowship code, which you can obtain by sending a request to kellogg@dal.ca from your Dalhousie email address.
For more information on other APC discounts available to Dalhousie researchers, please check out the APC page of the Dal Libraries’ Open-Access subject guide found here: https://dal.ca.libguides.com/open_access/apc.
