With the semester quickly coming to a close it can be hard to focus on anything beyond getting through exams and taking some well-deserved time off. However, there are already a ton of great events in the works for the coming year! If you’re new to Dal, these will all be new to you!
Annual Rowe Women in Business Conference: Be a Leader Today
The Rowe Women in Business Association is hosting their annual conference that will feature workshops, a case competition, networking sessions, panel discussions, and a line-up of outstanding keynote speakers.

Interested in getting involved on campus? Dal hosts a Society & Volunteer Expo every semester (just like the one in the fall, but it’ll be inside this time!). Keep an eye on the Dalhousie Student Union Facebook page for all of the details in the new year.
African Heritage Month
There will be events all over campus to celebrate African Heritage Month in February. Check out the Human Rights & Equity Services website for the background information and details from last year, including the DSU’s Racial Justice Symposium. The events for this year will be posted in January.
Dalhousie Job & Career Fair

DalLead! is an incredible learning opportunity for students. There are workshops and guest speakers dealing with everything from budgeting to developing your personal brand! This year the focus is on next-generation leadership. Registration opens in the new year.
Dalhousie Program & Major Expo

Next semester you’ll be making big decisions, including what you’ll major in. The Program & Major Expo is the perfect place to explore majors, minors and other programs across the university. Keep an eye on the Bissett Student Success Centre Facebook page for all of the details in the new year.

International Women’s Week

CIS Men’s Basketball Final 8
Dalhousie is hosting the CIS men’s basketball finals this year at the Scotiabank Centre (our women will be competing in Toronto at Ryerson).
