This past Friday, March 27th, Dalhousie's 2015 IBA team competed in the AAPG's IBA in Calgary, Alberta (read more). The team presented very well and tied for 4th place with the University of Alberta and McMaster University. First place went to Queens University, who will go on to represent Canada at the 2015 AAPG Annual Convention and Exhibition in Denver, Colorado at the end of May. Second place went to the University of Calgary, and third place to the University of Western Ontario. Last month we we said a tearful goodbye to Ms. Trudy Lewis, our temporary Research Administrator while Kristie McVicar was away. Although we are all sad to see her go, we had a wonderful time celebrating the season with her as our hostess at our holiday party on December 11th.
