Last fall, I joined the lab team as an information systems librarian. Since then, over 1600 items have been processed as part of the Lab's Special Collection. The collection consists of theses, maps, atlases, textbooks, handbooks, conference publications, journals, and a variety of unpublished material on a wide range of geological topics. Although a catalog of the collection is not yet available online, it is completely searchable and items are available for loan.
