Beach Day! We got up early this morning, had breakfast and headed to the beach to swim in the Indian Ocean. It was a huge empty beach with basically only us there (since it is winter, we probably looked crazy). Bailey and I plus a couple others went into the water, which at the time felt a lot warmer than the air and sand. The waves were huge and fun to body surf through. We relaxed on the beach until 11, when we packed up and headed to the Rat & Parrot Pub in Grahamstown for lunch!

We had delicious pizzas cooked to perfection and then had free time to walk around the outside mall area. Everyone ended up getting milkshakes and walking through Pick n Pay (local grocery store) for a bit until we had to head back. Most shops are closed Saturday afternoons in Grahamstown.
We had a tour of the Anti-Poaching Unit and met the wondering Ella the Tracker bloodhound/Doberman mix who loved to be petted . After our tour we relaxed over at the Sidbury Sports Hall until supper time and taught all the South Africans about s’mores and even made them some! Safe to say they enjoyed and are addicted to them!
