Our Afternoon was dedicated to data collection for our research projects.
Those students that needed data from the main reserve were taken on a game drive and those that had their data or could get their data from within the tented camp area stayed behind to do their work. There is a good variety of projects involving preferred habitat, herd numbers, behaviour and diet.

The afternoon was hot! We definitely got some tanning in while out in the field. After lots of hard work we were able to relax and take a dip in the pool before getting a talk about world environment day happening at the reserve on Wednesday morning. World Environment Day at the reserve is designed for the town’s school children to come and learn about nature, this year’s theme being reptiles. We are excited to teach the kids about reptiles and show them how important everything in nature is! Watch this space for more…
